We partnered with the Next 100 Ocean Equity Collective (OEC) to craft a transformative training session for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) "Voyage to Justice: Equity & Climate Justice Forum." This collaboration focused on a 90-minute session that utilized the OEC's Language Guide to foster deeper understanding and engagement on climate justice and equity. Our joint effort not only enhanced dialogue around these critical issues but also demonstrated the power of strategic alliances in propelling meaningful environmental and social change. Through this session, we highlighted how integrating diverse perspectives, expert insights and language can significantly advance discussions on sustainability and justice within the environmental sector.

We partnered with ReFED to conduct a thorough communications audit to fine-tune their communication operations so it better aligns with their core mission of combating food waste. Our extensive review covered a range of inquiries into their methodologies and involved engaging with staff, partners, funders and more, to collect critical insights. Our analysis and recommendations not only refined ReFED’s communication operations but set the stage for new internal systems that now extend clarity of their narrative externally. ReFED's strategic shift marks a significant turning point for the organization, amplifying their role in building the field and impacting global dialogue on reducing food waste.

We are currently working with MARC Global Communications to enhance their operational efficiencies and ensure scalability. Our focus includes performing a detailed financial analysis and developing a tailored business model that addresses their specific needs. This partnership aims to streamline operations, optimize productivity, and enhance internal communications, fostering a strong workplace culture. These efforts are not only about improving current operations but also about establishing a foundation and future pipeline for ongoing growth and future success.

We partnered with the Next 100 Coalition for a year, focusing on enhancing their communications and streamlining operations. A key part of our strategy was crafting clear, engaging messaging to boost their visibility and social media engagement. Simultaneously, we improved operational efficiency with leadership coaching, new revenue strategies, and refined work processes. An integral part of our collaboration was conducting a thorough board assessment, identifying and implementing improvements in their board infrastructure. This holistic approach not only made Next 100 more efficient in daily tasks but also sharpened their communication, significantly boosting their impact in environmental conservation.

We partnered with ReFED again, this time focused on refining their communication strategies within the complex, multi-stakeholder field of the food waste ecosystem. Our work centered on designing ways to elevate ReFED's role and visibility while enhancing and clarifying how they discuss and address the many streams involved in food loss and waste. The strategic communications developed enabled gives ReFED the foundation needed to articulate the intricacies of food waste more effectively and persuasively, fostering a deeper understanding among diverse groups of stakeholders. The effort will not not only raise their visibility, but is also intended to mobilize a broad array of actors—from policymakers and businesses to consumers—to take informed action. ReFED's sophisticated communication approach positions them as a pivotal figure in the intricate dialogue and concerted efforts to tackle food waste, influencing policy, shaping industry practices, and altering public behaviors toward more sustainable solutions.

We partnered with Green Leadership Trust (GLT) to assist in strategic planning, focusing on their goal of diversifying board memberships across legacy land and water conservation organizations. Acknowledging the challenges faced by BIPOC-led institutions, we embarked on a multi-phase journey to reshape GLT's future strategy. Our approach included a series of goal-setting meetings, material reviews, and facilitation of an in-person strategic planning retreat. Through this process, we laid the groundwork for GLT's path forward, incorporating additional research, member surveys, and stakeholder interviews to ensure a wide range of perspectives and buy-in. Our team's dedication culminated in crafting a comprehensive strategic plan and accompanying materials, finalized with strategic decision-making frameworks and budget structures. This strategic overhaul empowered GLT to navigate the complexities of their mission with a renewed focus and clear direction, enhancing their capacity to build power and diversity within the environmental advocacy sector.
